FINE ARTS MINISTRY

The purpose of the Fine Arts Department is to edify, the Body of Christ and to teach the Word of God through the Arts. Psalm Shabach, our Choir, ministers at the Sunday morning service. We sing a variety of music such as Gospel, Contemporary Christian songs, Negro Spirituals and Classical music. 

 Edify-U is our drama team..Their purpose is to minister the Word through skits, plays, vignettes, and soliloquies. Edify-U performs original productions such as Mothers, The Healing Theater, and Spiritual Masquerade. This group ministers at Shabach and in other churches and venues as needed.

Orchestra. We have a budding orchestra which accompanies the Praise and Worship team and plays at the morning service. So far our orchestra consists of keyboards, drums, and saxophone.  

 Bell Praise is a musical group that plays a three octave set of English handbells. We play a variety of music and minister at holidays and special occasions .

 The Shabach Praise Dancers include all ages and dance to a variety of gospel music. They also minister on special occasions.

 The Fine Arts Department hosts several annual events which include:

The Living Lord’s Supper is a dramatization of the Last Supper in the Bible. It also includes music, dance and poetry. It is thought provoking and timely. It is held on Palm Sunday at our 10 am service.

Praise Him in the Dance is a program which includes dancers from various churches and organizations. It is a beautiful display of different dance genres. It is held on the last Sunday in September at 3 pm.
