Ramona Jackson-Woods, a mother of two adult daughters, grandmother of seven and great-grandmother of four, resides in the county of Los Angeles, California. Born and raised (attended elementary and secondary school) in St. Louis, Missouri, she has a living father and four siblings (1 sister, 3 brothers). Ramona, at age 17, began matriculation at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa where she received an undergraduate degree and entered Graduate Studies in Education. While in Des Moines at age 19, Ramona held positions as State YPWW Chairlady, Evangelist Missionary and worked diligently in both her local church and the State of Iowa.

In 1976, Ramona moved to Los Angeles with her two daughters, continuing to work both in the church (Tabernacle of Holiness and Affiliates under Bishop John E. Sheriff and Mother Ella Rosena Carthron), and at the University of Southern California. In the local church she served as Sunday School Superintendent, choir member, teacher in the Women’s Department and printing assistant. At USC, she worked as Educational Coordinator of the Upward Bound Program, later promoted to Director of that program.

In 1986, Ramona joined the Shabach Christian Fellowship Interdenominational Church and was soon hired as the Church Administrator. In addition to performing this ministry, she assisted the Founding Pastor in teaching (Bible Studies, School of Ministry classes, workshops, etc), conducting Worship services (includes preaching and teaching), pastoral counseling, performing weddings and other sacerdotal duties. Now, the Los Angeles Shabach Foursquare Church, Ramona continues to serve as Church Administrator and Co-Pastor. Pastor Ramona possesses many years of ministry experience having been actively involved in ministry since age nine (Sunday School teacher helper, BTU teacher assistant, and general secretary understudy). She is highly equipped with knowledge and skills in Biblical Pastoral Counseling. Additionally, she was also Administrator of the Southern California Preparatory Academy (where she taught grades 6 - 12) from 1989 – 2001.
